Almond Sansrival

My first attempt at making this was a flop. My meringue didn't cook all the way through so it stuck to the foil. My layers had holes in it! I nearly gave up doing this again until I was inspired by all those beautifully made sansrival found in many bake shops. Well, good thing I didn't give up because it is well worth a second shot(if done correctly!).

Chewy meringue layers with toasted almonds all over!
